Driven by a passion for medicine, education, and service, I have cultivated a diverse and enriching journey in healthcare, research, and teaching. From my early years as a private tutor guiding hundreds of medical students in Sudan to serving as a Teaching Assistant in the Biochemistry Department at the University of Khartoum, I have always been committed to knowledge-sharing and mentorship.
My dedication to lifelong learning led me to pursue clinical training in Egypt, where I gained hands-on experience in diverse medical fields, and later to the United States, where I expanded my expertise through tele-geriatric research at Michigan State University. Engaging in research strengthened my analytical skills and deepened my appreciation for evidence-based medicine.
Beyond academia, my passion for social impact was reflected in my work with organizations like the Patient Helping Fund and Rifgah Organization for Orphans, where I contributed to community health initiatives and mentorship programs. Additionally, as a co-founder of Your Book On Us, I played a role in making medical education more accessible to students across Sudan.
Now, as a Clinical Instructor at St. George’s University School of Medicine, I am privileged to guide and inspire the next generation of physicians. My journey has been shaped by perseverance, adaptability, and a deep-seated commitment to both medicine and education. I look forward to continuing to grow as an educator and physician while making a meaningful impact in medical training and patient care.
