Summary

I completed a bachelor of science degree in biomedical sciences at the University of Saskatchewan where I majored in physiology & pharmacology. I enjoyed courses that had a lab component where I learned laboratory techniques. The lab skills that I acquired during my undergraduate degree include: PCR, electrophoresis, chromatography, immunostaining, microarrays, mass spectrometry, electrophysiology, centrifugation, microscopy, plating & streaking, and pipetting. My favorite laboratory experience was testing the efficacy of epinephrine administration on a rat ileum in an organ bath in the presence of different inhibitors. I am diligent in following lab safety and protocol.
